The newest Pokémon Trading Card Game expansion, Pokémon TCG: SV09 Journey Together, will be released on March 28, 2025. This set combines cards from the Japanese series Battle Partners and ex Starter Deck Generations and brings some exciting new features for collectors and players.

Return of the Trainer Pokémon
One of the most notable innovations in Journey Together is the reintroduction of Trainer Pokémon, formerly known as Owner Pokémon. These cards depict Pokémon alongside their respective Trainers and offer unique gameplay mechanics. Examples include N's Zoroark ex, Iono's Bellibolt ex, Lillie's Clefairy ex , and Hop's Zacian ex .
Set contents and card list
The set includes over 180 cards, including:
- 16 Pokémon ex
- More than 40 Trainer Pokémon
- 11 Illustration Rare Pokémon
- 6 Special Illustration Rare Pokémon
- 3 Hyper Rare Gold-etched cards
- Over 30 Pokémon and Trainer cards with special illustrations
Some cards were upgraded from Uncommon to Rare Holo, including Butterfree, Ludicolo, Metagross, Lillie's Ribombee, Regirock and Noivern .

The Journey Together set will be available in various product formats:
- Booster Packs – The classic 10-card packs with random cards from the set.
- Booster Box – Contains 36 Booster Packs.
- Elite Trainer Box – Contains 9 booster packs, an exclusive N's Zorua promo card, card sleeves, dice, and other accessories. The Pokémon Center version includes an additional stamped version of the promo card.
- Enhanced Booster Box – Contains booster packs and an N's Reshiram promo card with a special "Journey Together" stamp as a box topper.
